I think I love this vanity.
I think I love this vanity.
I can't stop taking pictures of it.
This is what it looked like when I got it...
(Of course, in my excitement, I started sanding the top before getting a photo.)
While I liked the grain of the wood, I couldn't resist painting it.
I chose to paint it in ASCP "Pure White."
I couldn't bring myself to cover up all the gorgeous wood,
so I left the waterfall panels natural, sealing with a polycrylic.
I envisioned glass knobs on it from the beginning,
and they look so charming with the heavily distressed paint.
For as old as it is, the piece is in great condition,
sporting all the original wooden caster wheels. Love those!
The drawers are dovetailed in front and back, and they are lined with fabric.
Dimensions are: 44" wide x 66" tall x 19" deep.
And I have to include this picture of the best photo prop of all time.
She loves having her picture taken!
Have a wonderful day everybody!
