Imagine the Possibilities...

Wow! It's been a while since I've updated the blog... Not that I haven't been working on furniture, I have. I've been trying to clear out my garage and basement. I'm sure a garage sale will be held in the very near future. So many projects I'm just not getting to... I think hoarding all this furniture is making me fat. Ha ha! Seriously, does this hutch make my butt look big? Anyhow, here is the latest makeover...

This dresser was given to me by a friend, and honestly, I was tempted to sell it as it was. Someone put a lot of work into this finish, and I'm sure someone else would love it... but I couldn't let it leave my hands without  "Danielle-ifying" it just a bit. It wasn't my style, and I could just IMAGINE the possibilities... :) So here is the AFTER:

From the very start I thought it needed feet... and cup pulls... and Graphite paint...

I'm so pleased with the result! What do you think?

This piece is for sale, and will be available to see in person at my new show room location...
Yep, that's right. I'm moving a large amount of furniture and other uniquities into a beautiful timber frame building on highway 20, between Rigby and Rexburg. I haven't decided on set hours yet, so I will be open by appointment for a while. There is a lot of room for other vendors as well... contact me if you're interested. :):):)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

  2. I like the Danielle-ifying end better and adding the feet was a great idea. I can't wait until you open your shop. I am coming up when that happens. I thought I would come up for the garage sale but then decided that it is for you I buy furniture for at garage sales so don't think I will make it up. Unless you need help of course.
