I have no "Before" photo... :(
But, there are a few of you who might remember it.
I bought this from a gal at last fall's WildHare FleaMarket.
It had a dark stain, glass in the upper doors,
and lined grooves in all the doors and drawers.
I was stumped for the longest time trying to figure out what to do about those grooves...
Wood filler? Build new ones? Leave them?
Until last week, when I was attempting to clean out the garage,
I had a thought... Just turn them around!
Brilliant! So I had to finish it!
I painted some places sparingly in Provence, then all over with Pure White.
Finished with clear and dark wax and generously distressed for that
old farm house feel.
I found some rusty knobs and pulls in my stash and they worked PERFECTLY!
Now I'm not sure what to do with it. I kinda love it.
I'm tempted to put it in my laundry room...
What do you think?

I LOVE this redo! Did you put screen in the doors? Soooo cool.
ReplyDeleteI do like the Provence peeping through on the drawers and bottom doors. Lovely. Where in your laundry room????
ReplyDeleteStopping by from MMS Furniture Friday. I love the color you chose for the inside and the screen doors are great! Very nice job :)
