Nine Drawer Dresser

Here is the "before" picture of this awesome dresser...

I'll admit, I kinda liked the plastic "funky"ness of the top drawers,
and I intended to keep them.
But, once I started tackling the thing, I decided to go in a different direction.
And this is what I came up with....
I'm hesitant to say this is the "after"....
because it might end up being the "in between."
I'm so tempted to slap those plastic funkies back on,
switch out the knobs, and paint the whole thing turquoise...
What do you all think?

UPDATE: It remains the same... A friend of mine saw it and thought it would be perfect for her little boys room. I had to agree...

SOLD! :)

A Fun Challenge....

This little side table got dropped off to me some weeks ago,

with the challenge to make it match a dresser that I painted and sold a while back.
It was one-half of what used to be a vanity, I believe.

The veneer on the top and drawers was in horrible condition.
And to make matters worse, someone had filled it with wood filler but didn't do any sanding after.
One of the back legs was broken, the pulls were off center....
It was ROUGH.
I took it to the shop and had Mark plane off the top and the drawer fronts with his monster planer.
(I took a picture, but can't figure out how to get it off my phone... :p)
After some weeks, (how many? I'm not saying...I thought I'd have it done in one...)
This is the end result...

Here is another little side table that I painted the same color
(That one is for sale!  SOLD )

Tulips are my very favorite flowers. Especially when they get droopy. Love that!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY EVERYONE!
